If you wonder where I’ve been these last few weeks, its been self-publishing this anthology of 16 of my favourite humorous short stories that I’ve written over the last 5 years or so.
It’s been a battle getting it formatted and in print, as I’ve crunched my 20th century head against 21st century technology, but it’s done*
It’s now available as the perfect Christmas stocking filler via Amazon on:
alternatively enter ‘preposterous Newbury’ in Amazon’s search box and up it comes)
* CreateSpace suggest it may not be available outside of the UK for some weeks, but I don’t know that for sure – perhaps you fine non-Brits can tell me?
I can’t tell you how proud I am of it, and frankly how authentic it looks. That’s much to do with my daughter Charlotte’s amazing artwork.
I’ve pressed the buttons to get it launched on Kindle, but the whole formatting thing is completely different to the printed version – so that’s the next issue for me to address. I’ll let you know…
Until then, well please feel free to buy a copy and add a comment! Cheers!
BTW – You really don’t need to know Newbury to enjoy/hate it.
Please note that 10% of the cover cost will go to the Daisy Garland Charity, who provide life-saving support for kids with epilepsy and peace of mind for their families.
